…I can’t decrease font-size on normal text. So the thing would’ve been a book.

There are three things commemorating this event, along with the virtual world that inspired it, Voxels. They are CMYK’s awesome Voxelian (above), minting on Manifold; my Voxels Theme, a music-GIF piece also minting on Manifold; and my Welcome to Voxels GIF, minting on Transient Labs (if you haven’t checked out that platform please do. It’s next-gen Async Art imo).
Initially planned to be a newsletter, Voxels virtual world Tours and Interviews - VvWTI - will cover those things, with room for other stuff of course. For example, an event might justify an interview pre-event to provide an introduction to the host(s), the world, and the thought process and steps required to make such events successful. Not everyone has planned a virtual gallery event, party, or conference, like Imnotart, Rare Scrilla, or Pierce and KBot, y’know.
In this Episode I talk to long-time NFT artist CMYK, who’s been minting blockchain art since 2014 on the Counterparty and Dogeparty platforms, both pre-Ethereum. I requested the interview 2 yrs ago, and so much has transpired since. Glad it waited, mainly for coverage of the Bitcoin ^NFT renaissance that miraculously happened. ^Not technically NFTs, but that’s not for here. They are legit tho.
I have a passion for interviewing Web3 creatives, and have been doing so here, on Elated Pixelations, since 2021. Today I prefer to talk about virtual worlds (aka the metaverse) on the blockchain, which has become a passion-within-a-passion for me. Also severely misunderstood, grossly misrepresented, and sorely under-represented. Well Mr. or Mrs. Reader, the metaverse is real. I’ve been living in it and contributing to it - specifically (Crypto)Voxels - during and since the Great Shutdown. CMYK is just one of many, many people I’ve encountered in Voxels virtual world or in some way connected to it. Indeed, my Web3 experience has centered around (Crypto)Voxels for the past four years, and I always discover something new when I visit.

Have a Linktree but it’s in sore need of updating so I’ll share later. It’s on my X if you’re really curious (see that doesn’t even sound right).
